When Butch Benford missed his son’s 6th grade football game for the second time, he founded Stratfield Consulting in 2011 so he could spend more time with his family.
A road-warrior consultant for much of his career, Butch believed that he, and others like him, could help clients get more projects done and be more successful, while creating a better quality of life for all and never missing dinner. That vision was the genesis of Stratfield Consulting and Butch has never looked back. Neither has his family.

After 20+ years in large consulting firms including Accenture and North Highland, Butch rolled up his sleeves and set out to build a team of leaders who share a passion for delivering projects with excellence. An Atlanta native, Butch enjoys spending time at the family cabin on the lake. A lifelong soccer fanatic, he knows that a hat trick is more than a magic trick.
